Kevin Ferguson as principal of TRIMTEC Restoration Co has been involved with the motor vehicle restoration industry for many years. He has restored and consulted on restorations on some of the finest and most rare motor vehicle Marque’s in the world and his reputation for excellence and quest for originality is second to none.

Kevin Ferguson has worked in the restoration industry for the past 46 years, and is conversant with the requirements of quality restorations. As an apprentice, he worked on many fine Vintage and Prestige motor vehicles and horseless carriages. During this time, he developed a deep love for fine automobiles and the restoration business. Soon he became disillusioned with the shoddy, so called restorations, people had to accept. As there wasn’t anyone who loved their project vehicle as they did, so the rebirth of TRIMTEC Restoration Co was put into effect to bring about change and fill that void.
In later years, the Internet had become a valuable tool in obtaining the original manufacturers specifications to aid in the restoration of the vehicles left in his care. He strives to give his personal best, with a very high standard of technical support, available to his clientele for their precious automobiles.
TRIMTEC Restoration Co
History
In the last 5 years Kevin has collated a vast amount of data on the history of Volkswagen Karmann Ghia models and their interiors, and has been able to advise his overseas customers on the original colour schemes for their year model. This plus the fact that Kevin produces the Karmann Ghia interiors to original factory specifications, has given him the satisfaction of knowing that what he produces will help someone somewhere in the world to restore their car back to original Factory finish.

And now Kevin is in his element able to manufacturer and export a plethera of Karmann Ghia interiors and parts to other countries in the world. With this new export market, Kevin has been able to make small parts and materials previously unavailable to the Karmann Ghia community and has built up a very strong following with the Karmann Ghia owners.
A recent e-mail from a client.

"I came across your website for the first time today. I must say that I can see you enjoy doing the best possible work, for I have not seen that quality of workmanship elsewhere. In particular interest to me are your Karmann Ghia parts. However I am contacting you. Of special interest is your dash top. Here in the United States, choices are limited to poor fitting rubber reproductions, or good looking "show quality" replacements which are hard plastic or fiberglass. Your dash top exceeds these, of course."
